We are proud to have Sir John Scott as the patron of our association. While he is best known for his partnership with Clarissa Dixon Wright in the television series Clarissa and the Countryman, "Johnny" as he was known in the series has a wide range of interests outside of television. He continues to be a hill sheep farmer in the Scottish Borders where he has lived and
worked for many years. He is a champion of the countryside and its issues and contriibutes regular articles to "The Field" and similar magazines on this subject. He is also a knowledgeable owner and breeder of working terriers and his current dog, Tug was to be seen at his master's side in many of his television appearances.

Johnny's interests and background make him the ideal person to represent our breed in the world at large and we look forward to working closely with him in the future.
